Biking and Walking Trails Near Lowry

With its central and convenient location, Boulevard One and the greater Lowry neighborhood have prime access to numerous walking paths and bike trails that are well connected within the Denver Metro area.  Lowry has 139 trails in the vicinity, including 79 for road biking, 66 for walking and 126 for other activities. These trails range from 0 to 75.4 miles in length. There is something for all ages and abilities whether you are looking to take a leisurely stroll, or you are looking for a challenging workout, you will be able access them just steps from your front door.

For those seeking the great outdoors in an urban setting, Lowry Park Loop is a 2.4-mile trail located in the floodplain of the Aurora-Kelley Road Reservoir where you can enjoy scenic views of both downtown and the mountains.  The Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge covers almost 23 miles and has 15 miles of trails.  Both of these options will fulfill your need for both exercise and wildlife watching.  The Highline Canal is 71 miles of trails and is considered one of the longest continuous urban trails in the country.  This trail starts off down south in Waterton Canyon and goes all the way north to Green Valley Ranch.  This trail falls within one mile of over 350,000 residents.  This trail is easily accessible by bike from the Lowry neighborhood.  These highlighted trails are only a few of the options available to residents of Boulevard One.  Please check out this link to explore trails and paths further: https://www.alltrails.com/us/colorado/denver
