Artists Genna and Signe Grushovenko’s Art in Front Entry of The Met

Both the North and South Buildings of The Met at Boulevard One have installed works of art created by artists Genna and Signe Grushovenko in the front entryways. These are very vibrant contemporary oil paintings and are inspired by vintage photographs with the sense of nostalgia of a simpler time and the balance of vintage imagery mixed with a contemporary style. The Grushovenko’s are a husband and wife team located in Greenville, South Carolina who have an interesting story to how their art is created.
