Lowry Parks

Living in Lowry provides you access to eighteen different parks that are home to over 800 acres of recreation and natural reserve space.  Lowry’s different parks offer a variety of settings for all kinds of activities, including neighborhood parks, walking trails, spaces to picnic, covered pavilions and grills, family-friendly areas, dog parks, a sports complex and even a Reading Garden.  Lowry’s parks and recreational areas are equal in size to 20 percent of all park space in the city of Denver. These parks are environmentally conscious and were built responsibly, with 35 percent of the total acreage devoted to native plants and grasses, and less than half sod, some of which even include low water grass varieties.

With warm weather on the horizon and the desire to be outside more, now is the perfect time to get out and start exploring the parks in the area.
